21-Day Venture Bootcamp

Three intensive weeks at the Ubunifu Innovation Hub, followed by online formation and implementation.

Bootcamp comes after formal admission. Weeks 1–2 focus on intensive venture development. Week 3 finalises the formation dossier and Launch Harambee pitch. Participants leave the Hub after Day 21; Afribiz formation, Afrisol technology implementation, banking and campaign activation continue online.

Understand the stage you are in, the gate to move forward and the evidence expected next.

Process

Turn an admitted learner into a launch-ready Social Entrepreneur.

Each stage has a reason, a concrete output and a defined handoff. Moving forward is not the same as silently approving the next gate.

01

Arrive & orient

Confirm cohort, conduct, programme plan and venture priorities.

Why it matters
Everyone begins with the same authority, expectations and evidence baseline.
Output
Active Bootcamp work plan
Next handoff
Intensive venture building
02

Validate & build

Test customers, solution, operations, money, impact and founder practice during Weeks 1–2.

Why it matters
Launch decisions should be based on real evidence, not only a classroom plan.
Output
Validated venture dossier
Next handoff
Week 3 finalisation
03

Finalise & pitch

Complete Business Plan, formation pack, technology/banking readiness, Launch Harambee budget and 90-day plan.

Why it matters
Day 21 should produce a coherent launch package, not a collection of unfinished documents.
Output
Launch-ready dossier
Next handoff
Formation / technology / banking / Harambee
04

Leave Hub & continue online

After Day 21, formation and implementation continue through approved partners and the participant’s secure Ubunifu workspace.

Why it matters
The Hub resets for the next cohort while the enterprise keeps moving.
Output
Controlled post-Bootcamp actions
Next handoff
Launch then 12-month incubation
End-of-process handoffSuccessful launch enters the enterprise into the 12-month incubation and extension operating cycle.
Dynamic cohorts

Related ventures together when it helps.

Where sufficient related ventures exist, Ubunifu can form a sector cohort such as agribusiness. Otherwise, a mixed cohort receives common venture-building sessions plus specialist clinics.

Week 1 · Learn & Validate

Problem evidence, customers, market, solution, prototype, founder practice and field learning.

Week 2 · Build & Prepare

Operations, pricing, finance, impact, governance, technology, banking readiness and formation preparation.

Week 3 · Finalise & Pitch

Final Business Plan, formation-ready documentation, confirmed name options, Launch Harambee budget/pitch and 90-day implementation plan.

Monthly Hub rhythm: new Social Entrepreneur cohorts report on the 1st from January through November. Participants leave after Day 21 so the final week can reset the Hub and prepare the next cohort. December is the annual programme recess: no Foundation lessons and no Bootcamp.

What the fee can include

All scheduled meals, incubation workspace, internet, programme facilitation, specialist clinics, mentor time, learning materials, field visits, programme administration and approved sector-specific requirements. Accommodation is separately priced, waived, Program Support-funded or institution-funded; support for a programme does not automatically fund a room.

Founder Practice

Time management, responsibility, teamwork, ethical conduct, peer contribution, wellbeing routines, adaptability and caring for others are observed with clear criteria. Physical exercise is inclusive participation, not athletic performance.

Published programmes

Upcoming Bootcamp programmes

Participants can see the actual cohort programme, location, dates, fee and any Program Support/institutional contribution before accepting a place and paying.

No Bootcamp is currently published for public enrolment. Approved cohorts will appear here when programme staff publish them from the private programme system.
