Support a Journey

Choose a journey worth completing.

Support works best when the destination is clear. Choose a defined learner, enterprise, extension or opportunity journey; see what it is designed to change, what it costs and how progress will be evidenced; then fund it in full or share the commitment with others.

Support with purpose

Know what your support is meant to make possible.

A Support Journey connects the contribution to a defined developmental outcome before payment begins.

A defined transformation

Each package starts with the gap, the intended change and who the journey is designed for.

A meaningful commitment

Choose a concrete share or fund the full journey. Co-Share lets several supporters carry one defined target together.

Evidence after funding

Reconciled support moves through allocation, delivery and privacy-safe outcome updates instead of disappearing into an unexplained payment.

Flagship journey

Do not stop at a course or certificate. Stay with the learner until capability has somewhere to go.

Complete Learner Development Journey supports one participant from Foundation through applied learning, mentoring and Bootcamp, then stays with them through six months of extension and opportunity access.

Choose by outcome

Start with the outcome you care about.

Each journey has its own pitch, benefit and evidence path. Pick the outcome that matches what you want your support to unlock.

01
Help someone start with confidence.

Foundation Start

The first step should not be the hardest one to fund.

Foundation Start gives one eligible participant eight weeks of structured learning, learner support and assessment so they can move from interest to a stronger, evidence-based next step.

Applied Learning Journey

Knowing is not enough. Help someone learn, apply and prove what they can do.

Applied Learning Journey combines Foundation with practical professional learning, assessment and learner support so capability is built through use—not only through content consumption.

Help someone step out of theory and into 21 days of concentrated practice.

Back the work of building, not just the idea.

Build an Enterprise

Help a promising entrepreneur build the capability, routines and market confidence an enterprise needs to keep going.

Build an Enterprise supports the long work after an idea appears: practical capability, intensive learning, guided enterprise development and twelve months of follow-up while the entrepreneur tests, learns, sells and strengthens how the enterprise operates.

One journey, different ways to help

Support it alone, share the commitment or fund places as an organisation.

01

Support in Full

Fund the complete package and create one fully supported journey once the payment is confirmed and reconciled.

02

Co-Share with Others

Start with a predetermined share, create a Support Circle and invite friends, colleagues or family to complete the same target.

03

Organisation / TVET Sponsorship

Companies can fund multiple places or sponsor an approved TVET course under a quotation, agreement and governed public-credit relationship.

International support

Support internationally without turning the journey into a card checkout.

KES remains the programme accounting anchor. UIMS uses a current controlled CBK indicative snapshot to show and lock USD/EUR equivalents for the transaction, while the receiving bank remains authoritative for actual settlement. Direct bank transfer is recommended for full, larger and institutional support.

After funding

Funding is the beginning of the evidence trail, not the end.

1. Payment confirmed and reconciledThe state changes only when the corresponding UIMS evidence/control is satisfied.
2. Eligible participant or purpose allocatedThe state changes only when the corresponding UIMS evidence/control is satisfied.
3. Programme delivery beginsThe state changes only when the corresponding UIMS evidence/control is satisfied.
4. Milestones and exceptions are recordedThe state changes only when the corresponding UIMS evidence/control is satisfied.
5. Approved outcome/impact update becomes availableThe state changes only when the corresponding UIMS evidence/control is satisfied.
Responsible support

Clear purpose. Controlled money. Respect for the person being supported.

A package explains its intended use before payment. A pledge or transfer slip never counts as funded until the receipt is matched and reconciled. Beneficiary identity remains private unless lawful consent permits disclosure, and support never creates regulatory, assessment or ownership rights.
